Pike & Shotte: March Action

The final game in a series organized by the GHS club, the battle featured a Catholic assault on a weakened Protestant force in southern Germany.

The action was intense from the start. The Catholic left struggled with poor command rolls, and never really got to grips with their foes.

In the center Dave's valiant Protestant defense stymied an almost certain Catholic breakthrough, with charges and counter charges galore.

The decisive break came on the Catholic right, where after heavy fighting with both sides giving as well as they got, the Catholics attrited the Protestant defenders enough to break through. A great and close game, giving the Catholics an overall win for the series.
